Rubies In The Smoke: A Cabaret for the City (2013)

“Saucy, ambitious and satirical”
— Exeunt

Rubies In The Smoke was an ode to London, a cabaret for the city. Premiering in 2013 at The Other Palace (formerly St. James’ Theatre) to sell-out crowds, it went on to tour to other venues throughout the south. The show featured unique Ruby arrangements of songs by an eclectic range of artists, including; Jessie J, Kate Bush, Gilbert & Sullivan, Radiohead, Stephen Sondheim & Tom Lehrer. It featured puppetry, dance, poetry and a pseudo marimba band.
